Why is our supplement unique?

mineralsanddetox
UriParsley is a dietary supplement designed to support the healthy functioning of the kidneys and the entire urinary system. It may have several other positive side effects, including protection of the digestive tract and digestive problems relief. Its only ingredient is a freeze-dried extract from the aerial part (stem and leaves) of parsley (Petroselinum crispum). The source of the raw material used to produce the supplement are plants grown organically in Poland in areas untouched by industrial pollution and with the highest quality soil in Europe. Our product does not contain any fillers or other inactive ingredients. This allows you to fit a much larger amounts of active substances into a smaller than usual capsule (300 mg) than in other products of this type with an average capsule size that is even twice as large. This is good news for people who do not like to swallow large capsules.

What is the nutritional value of parsley?

Parsley is a plant from the Apiaceae family that comes from Greece, Morocco, and former Yugoslavia. Carl Linnaeus believed that the original habitat of wild parsley was Sardinia, where it grew as early as the third century BC. Currently, this plant is cultivated as a vegetable and raw material to produce herbs and supplements in temperate climates around the world. It is considered a rich source of phenolic compounds and flavonoids, among which it contains particularly large amounts of apigenin and quercetin. It also contains essential oils (myristicin, apiol) and coumarins. It is a source of vitamins (folate, vitamin K, C and A) and minerals (iron, calcium, and potassium). It is a good dietary source of lycopene, lutein, and zeaxanthin.

Health benefits that can be available by using preparations from the above ground part of parsley:

In folk medicine and Western herbalism, parsley has been and is still used as a carminative and to prevent flatulence after eating [3,5], to soothe stomach irritation [6], as a diuretic [4], to disinfect the urinary tract and to prevent the formation of kidney stones. It is used to treat amenorrhea, dysmenorrhea, gastrointestinal disorders, hypertension, heart disease and skin problems (psoriasis) [1,3]. Many of the health benefits of using parsley result from the plant's high content of a flavonoid called apigenin. It is an anti- inflammatory substance and a strong antioxidant. Scientific research has shown its beneficial effect on improving cognitive functions, which may help inhibit the development and progression of dementia. Its antidepressant effect and improvement of sleep quality have also been observed [2]. In studies on laboratory animals under experimental stress, a protective effect of parsley preparation on the gastric mucosa was observed. Parsley supported the antioxidant system of the stomach lining cells, increasing the average level of glutathione and the activity of superoxide dismutase and catalase [6]. Parsley is a good source of minerals (iron, calcium, potassium). One scientific study observed its effect on improving the functioning of skeletal muscles and relieving painful muscle spasms [1]. As a good source of folate and many other anti-inflammatory substances and antioxidants, parsley preparations may have a beneficial effect on homocysteine levels and cardiovascular health [3]. The diuretic effect on the kidneys was demonstrated in studies on laboratory animals, which excreted significantly more urine under the influence of parsley preparation [4]. Parsley leaves are a natural diuretic.
