Why is the Microbiota Pro dietary supplement unique?

mineralsanddetox
The vegetable selected for production is a special species of beetroot, which is grown organically in Poland, away from industrial pollution, on land considered the least degraded and cleanest in Europe. It has been proven that organically grown beets have a much higher content of substances considered biologically active [1]. The pickling (fermentation) process extracts natural chemicals from beets in a form that is best absorbed by the human body. It also enriches with probiotic bacteria that have a positive effect on the digestive tract. Beets from the same source as those that form the basis of Microbiota Pro were used by oncologists in one of the clinical centers in Poland for scientific research involving patients with various forms of gastrointestinal cancer [2]. They observed a beneficial effect of the pickled beetroot preparation on inflammatory markers (lowering CRP), lowering the values of liver enzymes, increasing the level of sodium and albumin in the blood and the number of Natural Killer immune cells. These patients also reported better well-being, better energy levels, better sleep, and better intestinal peristalsis.

How can Microbiota Pro be helpful?

Betalains are the most important natural chemicals in red beets. The largest amounts include betanin, which gives them their characteristic red color, and nitrates. Betalains have been proven to combat oxidative and nitrosative stress by scavenging free radicals, protecting DNA from damage, and reducing LDL. They have anticancer effects by inhibiting angiogenesis, cancer cell proliferation, inducing apoptosis and autophagy [5}. The use of beetroot preparations can improve sports performance, lower blood pressure, and improve peripheral circulation. This is primarily due to the action of the large amounts of nitrates they contain, which are precursors of nitric oxide. However, it was established that the beetroot preparation had a blood pressure-lowering effect in a manner independent of nitrates [6].

One of the traditional uses of beetroot preparations is to alleviate the symptoms of a hangover the day after drinking alcohol. Microbiota Pro can be very helpful here. This is because, in addition to the substances contained in beetroot that have a direct beneficial effect on the liver, it also has a beneficial protective effect on this organ by acting on the intestinal flora. This action is supported by the second ingredient of the supplement, which is micronized apple fiber (pectin). It is obtained from a special species of apples characterized by an exceptionally high content of pectin and other natural biologically active substances. Micronized pectin can penetrate the blood and have a beneficial effect on the health of the entire body by inhibiting excessive inflammation and pathological fibrosis (liver cirrhosis, kidney failure, atherosclerosis). Their anticancer effects are also known [3]. This fiber has a beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal flora (as a prebiotic) and thus helps protect the liver against the effects of metabolic and environmental toxins [4]. Adding micronized apple fiber is a brilliant solution to eliminate capsule fillers that are harmful to health (e.g., magnesium stearate). Plants and fruits that are the raw material for our supplements are organically grown in Poland, away from industrial pollution. They are grown in areas with the cleanest and least degraded arable land. This guarantees the best possible and ecologically cleanest content of natural active substances.
