Antioxrose

The Antioxrose dietary supplement has been designed to use the health benefits of one of the richest sources of vitamin C in nature, i.e., rosehip fruit, the extract of which is its main ingredient. In addition to vitamin C, rosehips contain many other antioxidants and natural substances that can be used to support health. These are flavonoids, tannins, anthocyanins, phenolic compounds, fatty oils, organic acids, and many others [1].

How can Antioxrose be helpful?

In folk medicine of many cultures, rosehip fruit was used to treat colds and respiratory diseases, support immunity and digestive ailments. It was considered a fruit that strengthens the body and delays the aging process. In one of the scientific studies, a group of volunteers were given a rosehip preparation for 8 weeks [5] and they observed a reduction in the number of facial wrinkles, an improvement in skin hydration and its elasticity. The subjects also felt younger when looking at themselves in the mirror. Rosehip extract also had a lowering effect on blood pressure and cholesterol levels in laboratory mice, in which it prevented the development of obesity when they were fed with fat-rich food [6]. The antioxidant effect of natural chemical compounds from rosehip fruit had an antiproliferative (anticancer) effect on colon cancer cells [8]. The anti-inflammatory effect of rosehip extract can reduce joint inflammation and the associated pain in a safe way (compared to non-steroidal and steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs) [2]. Rosehip galactolipids had a protective effect on joint cartilage by affecting inflammation in another study [7].

The second ingredient of the Antioxrose supplement is micronized fiber (pectin) obtained from a special species of apples characterized by an exceptionally high content of pectin and other natural biologically active substances. Micronized pectin can penetrate the blood and have a beneficial effect on the health of the entire body by inhibiting excessive inflammation and pathological fibrosis (liver cirrhosis, kidney failure, atherosclerosis). Their anticancer effects are also known [3]. This fiber has a beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal flora (as a prebiotic) and thus helps protect the liver against the effects of metabolic and environmental toxins [4].
