Why is our supplement unique?

mineralsanddetox
Eye-Kale is a dietary supplement designed to support eye health and good vision. It may have many other positive side effects listed below. Its only ingredient is a lyophilized extract from the aerial part (stem and leaves) of kale (Brassica oleracea L.). The source of the raw material to produce the supplement are plants grown organically in Poland in areas untouched by industrial pollution and with the highest quality soil in Europe. Our product does not contain any fillers or other inactive ingredients. This allows us to fit larger amounts of active substances into a smaller than usual capsule (300 mg) than in other products of this type with an average capsule size that is even twice as large. This is good news for people who do not like to swallow large capsules.

What nutritional value does kale have?

Numerous scientific studies have shown that a diet rich in vegetables is associated with a reduced risk of developing many diseases. The vegetable that is on the list of the healthiest of all is kale, which comes from eastern Turkey. In the first millennium it spread throughout Europe and in the early 1980s it became popular in America. Because kale is resistant to extreme temperatures (both high and low) and has great nutritional value, it has become a popular agricultural crop in many countries. Like other plants from the Brassicaceae family, kale is a rich source of glucosinolates, the most famous of which are glucoraphanin and 3,3'-diindolylmethane. Their derivatives in the body are sulforaphane and DIM. These are substances that are believed to have anti-proliferative (anti-cancer) and anti-inflammatory properties. Kale also contains large amounts of polyphenol compounds with strong antioxidant properties and carotenoids, among which very important ones are xanthophyll compounds lutein and zeaxanthin. It is also a rich source of vitamins (vitamin C and K) and minerals (calcium and magnesium), which is associated with its positive effect on the health of bones and teeth.

Health benefits that can be available by using high quality kale preparation:

The health benefits of kale and its preparations have been known since ancient times. It was used in folk medicine to prevent sunstroke, to reduce fever, and to treat subglottic laryngitis (croup) in children. It has been and is still used all over the world to treat stomach ulcers, high levels of glucose and cholesterol in the blood, rheumatism, hangovers, and liver diseases. Scientific research has demonstrated the anticancer effect of the kale preparation by inhibiting the development of the HELA cancer cell line [3]. Another study demonstrated its anti- inflammatory and protective effects on the nervous system [1]. This may have a hindering effect on the development of dementia. The properties of kale can be positively used by people with metabolic syndrome (syndrome X), which is characterized by abdominal obesity, increased blood pressure, increased blood glucose levels and abnormal cholesterol and lipid values in the blood. Supplementation with a kale preparation for 8 weeks led to the normalization of laboratory test results in such people[1]. In addition to all these benefits, the use of kale may help inhibit the development of age-related eye diseases such as macular degeneration and cataracts[4]. Kale contains lutein and zeaxanthin, which are the only carotenoids of dietary origin that accumulate in the retina of the eye, which is responsible for generating a nerve impulse in the process of vision. They accumulate especially in the macula and are therefore called macular pigments. About 200 million people in the world, mainly over the age of 50, suffer from macular degeneration. It is a disease that can lead to irreversible loss of vision. The more lutein and zeaxanthin there is in the diet, the lower the risk of developing this disease [2].

Why eye-kale?

Kale preparations can have a very beneficial effect on human health due to their positive effect on eye health, antioxidant, anti-proliferative, anti-inflammatory properties and regulating the bodys metabolism. The technological method of obtaining our highest quality supplement and the organic source of the raw material guarantee the highest content of biologically active substances.
