Losing body weight by improving digestion and metabolism

Vinegar has been known for thousands of years as a home remedy for infectious diseases (a natural antibiotic) and as a household disinfectant. It has recently become popular due to the belief that it can help with weight loss and support heart and circulatory system health. Japanese scientists conducted a clinical trial involving 175 people [5] who were given small amounts of vinegar (1 or 2 tablespoons a day). Some of these people received a placebo. People receiving vinegar lost 2-4 pounds of weight over several months and had lower triglyceride levels compared to people who took a placebo. In another clinical study, vinegar or placebo were administered to a group of 39 obese people who were also on a low-calorie diet [6]. Both groups lost weight, but those taking the vinegar lost more.

How else can Metabolism Enhancer be helpful?

The mechanism of action of apple cider vinegar on metabolism has been the subject of many scientific studies. In one such study, it was administered to laboratory rats on a high-fat diet. It was found that apple cider vinegar alleviated oxidative stress caused by such an unhealthy diet and alleviated the impact of this stress on cardiovascular health by inhibiting the mechanisms leading to the development of atherosclerosis [2]. Another group of researchers analyzed dozens of clinical studies conducted over many years using apple cider vinegar and concluded that its use led to lower fasting blood glucose levels in the morning after waking up and lower total blood cholesterol levels. Lower levels of hemoglobin A1C, which is a marker of insulin resistance (type 2 diabetes), were also observed. Apple cider vinegar may be helpful for people struggling with the Metabolic Syndrome, which involves insulin resistance associated with obesity and cardiac diseases (hypertension, atherosclerosis, risk of heart attack and stroke).

The beneficial effects of apple cider vinegar on health and improving metabolism are related to its beneficial effects on digestion and digestive health. The second ingredient of the Metabolism Enhancer supplement is micronized fiber (pectin) obtained from a special species of apples characterized by an exceptionally high content of pectin and other natural biologically active substances. Micronized pectin can penetrate the blood and have a beneficial effect on the health of the entire body by inhibiting excessive inflammation and pathological fibrosis (liver cirrhosis, kidney failure, atherosclerosis). Their anticancer effects are also known [3]. This fiber has a beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal flora (as a prebiotic) and thus helps protect the liver against the effects of metabolic and environmental toxins [4].
