Why is Immuno Pro
a unique dietary supplement?

The second ingredient of the Immuno Pro supplement is micronized fiber (pectin) obtained from a special species of apples characterized by an exceptionally high content of pectin and other natural biologically active substances. Micronized pectin can penetrate the blood and have a beneficial effect on the health of the entire body by inhibiting excessive inflammation and pathological fibrosis (liver cirrhosis, kidney failure, atherosclerosis). Their anticancer effects are also known [3]. This fiber has a beneficial effect on the gastrointestinal flora (as a prebiotic) and thus helps protect the liver against the effects of metabolic and environmental toxins [4]. Adding micronized apple fiber is a brilliant solution to eliminate capsule fillers that are harmful to health (e.g., magnesium stearate). Plants and fruits that are the raw material for our supplements are organically grown in Poland, away from industrial pollution. They are grown in areas with the cleanest and least degraded arable land in Poland and Europe. This guarantees the best possible and ecologically cleanest content of natural active substances.

Sauerkraut and breast cancer

Attention has been drawn to the extremely high health value of sauerkraut extract due to the observation of a lower incidence of malignant tumors in populations where pickled cruciferous vegetables are consumed in large quantities. In one such study, scientists from American medical centers analyzed a group of women born in Poland and living near Chicago and Detroit. They concluded that greater consumption of raw or briefly cooked cabbage and sauerkraut during adolescence or adulthood was associated with a significantly lower risk of developing breast cancer among Polish immigrant women [2].

What other health benefits can result from using Immuno Pro?

Pickling cabbage has been used for thousands of years as a way of preserving it (protecting it from spoilage) and this process turns cabbage into a source of human-friendly probiotic bacteria. Numerous scientific studies confirm the health-beneficial properties of sauerkraut through anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, anticancer and DNA protection against oxidative damage [1]. Sauerkraut contains a lot of glucosinolates, which are a source of substances that inhibit the development of malignant tumors (cancer, for example, of prostate, lung, stomach, breast) [1,5]. The most known glucosinolates and biologically active products of their metabolism in the body are indole-3-carbinol, 3,3′-diindolomethane (DIM), glucoraphanin, sulforaphane. There are numerous scientific works showing both their effect in inhibiting the formation and growth of cancer tumors [1,5], as well as their effect on destroying cancer stem cells [6]. The cancer stem cell is responsible for its metastasis and recurrence, even after many years. The female mammary gland is rich in stem cells, which in healthy conditions control its normal physiological changes. These cells become particularly active, for example, during the period of breast preparation for feeding the newborn. Stem cells are found in all organs and tissues. These cells reproduce very rarely (therefore they are insensitive to conventional chemotherapy) and long-lived (many scientists consider them immortal). They direct other cells that can undergo mitosis (reproduction) in physiological processes and recovery after injuries. Once these cells pathologically transform into cancer stem cells, they begin to drive the growth, metastasis, and recurrence of malignant tumors. Sauerkraut extract is a source of substances that can destroy cancer stem cells [6].

Scientists believe that the health of the intestines and digestive tract is responsible for 70% of immune processes. Sauerkraut extract has a very beneficial effect on the digestive flora, being a source of friendly probiotic bacteria and prebiotic substances (which provide food for the growth of beneficial intestinal flora). In scientific studies, sauerkraut extract inhibited the growth of pathological flora in the gastrointestinal tract and had an immunomodulating effect (regulating immunity) and alleviating the symptoms of irritable bowel syndrome (IBS) [1].
